Check out these 22 pieces of Singapore architecture, this time in Central Singapore, which is not the same as the City Centre. For top Singapore architecture in the city centre, check out my blog post here. This is a continuation of this architecture series and I hope you are enjoying these new ideas. Maybe you will add a few of these to your lists of places to hit up while in Singapore. If you want to curate the best Instagram feed, then you are already in the right place. All but three of these 22 buildings are strictly residential, so be aware that visitation inside is not permitted. You can still admire the buildings from the outside. Except for transportation, this is a free activity to do around the Merlion City, so enjoy!
1. Soleil @ Sinaran

π Sinaran Drive
βοΈ Not open for visitation.
These twin peaks stand out with their all glass structure when compared to its neighboring buildings. Located outside Novena MRT station, this Singapore architecture is sure to catch your eye in all its blue glory.

2. Bishop SkyHabitat

π 7 Bishan Street 15
βοΈ Not open for visitation.
This stunner is hard to miss! Its unique shape is unlike many standard HDBs in the city. Many people go to the nearby park to take photos with this one of a kind Singapore architecture.

3. Sky @Eleven

π 7 Thomson Lane
βοΈ Not open for visitation.
Sky @Eleven has a prominent feature; its rounded pucks in the center of each building. This neat design stood out to me while driving by so it had to make it on my list of Singapore architecture in central Singapore.

4. Ferrell Residences

π 327 Bukit Timah Road
βοΈ Not open for visitation.
The layered wave design of this piece of Singapore architecture quite cool. The way it is used to bring dimension and shape to the building, all whist adding to the balconies, is a fun sight to see.

5. The Chinese High School Clock Tower Building

π 661 Bukit Timah Road
βοΈ Open Monday-Friday
Considered one of the 70-ish National Monuments of Singapore, this clock tower dates back to 1925. Its symmetry compliment the neoclassical inspiration behind this part of Singapore architecture.

6. Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery

π 88 Bright Hill Road
βοΈ Open Daily!
This temple actually features a pond and a large Buddha statue behind the building. It is amazingly beautiful and an otherwise forgotten attraction by many. This part of Singapore architecture is traditional through and through. If you plan to visit the Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery, please be mindful of the dress code; covered knees and shoulders. Opening hours vary by hall/attraction, learn more here.

7. The Marq on Paterson Hill

π 8A Paterson Hill

You can get up and close to this Singapore architecture! Its unique square sun room is heavily pronounced. Each side of the building seems to be designed uniquely its own.

8. The Fraser Residence Orchard

π 31 Paterson Road
βοΈ Open 24/7
Although technically considered to be located in Singapore’s city centre, this hotel is located down from Orchard Road. Its two towers make for a unique design is it widens slightly at the top. This Singapore architecture is also on this list for its stunning pool courtyard.

9. OUE Twin Peaks
π33 Leonie Hill Road
βοΈ Not open for visitation.
Also known for their stunning pool courtyard, these mirrored twin buildings have a built in green space in the side of each building. It is as if a piece was cut out of these residential high rises. If only there was a bridge connecting these two buildings at the top, it would make this piece of Singapore architecture even more of a standout.

10. One Leonie Residences
π 1 Leonie Hill
βοΈ Not open for visitation.
One Leonie not only boasts wave balconies but a stunning rooftop. I really wish this Singapore architecture was open to the public!

11. The Lumos

π 9 Leonie Hill
βοΈ Not open for visitation.
The glass capsules on this Singapore architecture remind me of a similar concept as seen in Sky @Eleven (#3).

12. Leonie Parcview/Furama Tower

π22 Leonie Hill Road
βοΈ Not open for visitation.
Boasting two names, this Singapore architecture has an open relaxation spot at the top of the building. It is also difficult to find pictures of this beauty other than digital renders and construction images.

13. New Futura

π 18 Leonie Hill Road
βοΈ Not open for visitation.
Reminiscent of Ferrell Residences and One Leonie with its wavy balconies, these twin buildings stand tall over Leonie Hill Road. You will not miss this Singapore architecture if you visit this part of town!

14. Grange Infinite

π 27 Grange Road
βοΈ Not open for visitation.
This one piece of Singapore architecture is a bit different. It has staggered balconies, which is actually a great touch for some added privacy. It does make the building look a bit odd though, in my opinion. Nevertheless, it’s still a stunner and made it on this list.

15. The Colonnade

π 82 Grange Road
βοΈ Not open for visitation.
Another part of Singapore architecture that is hard to miss…are you ready for some blocks? This one of a kind design is definitely unique but I’m sure that some of us agree on the fact that it could have been a different color.

16. Cliveden @Grange & Beverly Hill
π 100 Grange Road
βοΈ Not open for visitation.
Known for their roof top terraces, these five buildings wear a crown. You will also find another stunning piece of Singapore architecture across the road, shimmering at you with its long, blue glass panels.

17. Manhattan Mansions

π 76 Grange Road
βοΈ Not open for visitation.
The Manhattan Mansions have a more classical feel to them. The white walls. The brown touches. If you are on Grange Road, take a peak at this Singapore architecture. It’s got a more cozy vibe to luxury apartment living.

18. Grange 1866
π 74 Grange Road
βοΈ Not open for visitation.
Located right beside the Manhattan Mansions, Grange 1866 is a high rise that reminds me of the Marq on Paterson Hill. This Singapore architecture has four sides with a unique touch to each face of the structure.

19. The Mill

π 5 Jalann Kilang
βοΈ Open for occasional happenings.
The Mill is a mighty and dark business hub that stands out in an otherwise mundane industrial park. Be sure to check out their official website to see what is happening at this piece of Singapore architecture.

20. SkyVille @Dawson

π 86 Dawson Road
βοΈ Not open for visitation.
This Singapore architecture reminds me of the warmer and smaller version of Pinnacle @Duxton.

21. SkyTerrace @Dawson

π 90 Dawson Road
βοΈ Not open for visitation.
This stylish and urban part of Singapore architecture sure is a beaut. It features a number of bridges that connect all the buildings together!

22. Dalvey Hill + Arwaa Mansion
View this post on Instagram
π 48 Nassim Road
βοΈ/βοΈ
This one is not known by many visitors but it is such a cute place to take pictures or to even have a picnic! Just east of the Singapore Botanic Gardens, this open field and Singapore architecture combo is a popular backdrop for wedding photography. Although the Arwaa Mansion is private property, you can visit Dalvey Hill any time to take your pictures with the mansion in the backdrop.
