The Singapore Flyer, most commonly known as the “eye” in other cities around the world, is one of the top Singapore attractions in the city with views from 162 m/532ft; this 42 story ferris wheel allows for a breathtaking 45 km/28-mile view Singapore’s many landmarks, to include beautiful Sentosa Island, Changi Airport, as well as parts of Malaysia and Indonesia.
From the Singapore Flyer, you are also able to see close up landmarks and neighborhoods such as Sultan Mosque, the Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, the ArtScience Museum, the Old City Hall, the Merlion Statue, the Formula One Track, the Esplanade Theater, the Helix Bridge, Chinatown, the National Stadium, and the Central Business District.

4. Dining at the Singapore Flyer
1. Overview of the Singapore Flyer
Hours: Open daily, including on public holidays, from 10am-10pm, last admission at 9:30pm. Weather can affect hours of operation.
Address: Located at 30 Raffles Avenue (across from the Marina Bay Sands and the Helix Bridge)
Duration: Expect to spend about an hour at the Singapore Flyer. A sunset view from 162 meters must be breathtaking! Limited seating is available inside the capsule (benches). Wheelchair accessible. No toilets inside the capsule.
Its 28 air-conditioned capsules can carry 28 passengers each and the admission ticket will allow for one 30-minute rotation. The capsule is encased in mostly glass, so you will get a view from most angles, and also friendly for kids to enjoy. It is also worth noting that the capsule glass is tinted for a no-glare view!
As mentioned above, the Singapore Flyer reaches its peak at 162 m/532ft; this 42 story ferris wheel that allows for a breathtaking 45 km/28-mile view! If you get cold in air-con I recommend bringing a jacket or shal.

2. Ticket Pricing
Adults: S$40
Children ages 3-12: S$25
Seniors 60 and over: S$25
Admission also includes Singapore’s Time Capsule Tickets, an interactive exhibit portraying the island nation’s past, present, and future. Tickets must be purchased online with a date slot, though during non-peak hours, you should be able to purchase online or in person on the spot.
Tickets are non-refundable and once purchased, you must give a 7-day notice if you wish to move your date; this is important because the Flyer may cease operations during inclement weather, something Singapore is no stranger to.

Beyond the Singapore Flyer:
An array of other dining options are likewise available at nearby Millenia Walk Mall, Suntec City, Marina Square Mall, Makansutra Gluttons Bay (food pavilion), and the Shoppes at the Marina Bay Sands.
The nearest hawker centres are quite a ways away. There’s Satay by the Bay at Gardens by the Bay, inside the King Fisher Wetlands or Market Street Hawker Centre in the Central Business District. More options are available around Bugis & Kampong Glam.

5. Know Before You Go
Pass the line: You will have to walk through the Time Capsule exhibits order to board the Singapore Flyer, so if you want to beat the crowd, go ahead and just walk through it; this exhibit can be fun for kids, but nothing special for adults – walking through it to get to the actual boarding ramp will allow you to pass most others.
Good Weather: Before you decide to go to the Singapore Flyer, please make sure you pick a mostly clear, non-overcast day. This will allow for the best and furthest views! Plus, as mentioned previously, weather can affect the operations as well; since tickets must be reserved online for a specific date, getting refunds can be tricky.
Miscellaneous: Pictures are taken before boarding and available for purchase after the ride. Small bags can be brought into the capsule, strollers cannot. As mentioned before, the air-con’d capsules at the Singapore Flyer can be quite cold, so if you’re like me, bring a jacket and/or a shal to bundle up or to use for sitting on the cold metal benches inside. One rotation lasts 30 minutes and your admission ticket only grants you one rotation.
Bonus: If you manage to time it right, you can watch the sunset on the top of the Singapore Flyer, which usually starts between 7pm-7:30pm but be sure to check your weather app. Ensure you enter the capsule about 15 minutes before sunset to ensure you will be at the top-most location right at sunset time.
Catch a glimpse of the nightly Garden Rhapsody sound and light show at Gardens by the Bay; these occur nightly at 7:45pm and 8:45pm so be sure to board your capsule not later than about 7:35/8:35 to see it.
See the nightly Spectra Light Show that happens at the Marina Bay Promenade; Fridays & Saturdays, the show starts at 8pm/9pm/10pm and all other days at 8pm and 9pm only. Plus, you may also look across the bay to catch a glimpse of the illuminated Merlion statue.

6. How to get to the Singapore Flyer
