Just like the Marina Bay Sands, the Merlion statue is a tourist favorite hot spot on a well deserved top spot on this list of Singapore Instagrammable locations. Since the Merlion is such a popular icon of Singapore, you can get the best photos early in the morning to beat the crowds. However, this waterfront spot is just as stunning at night, when the Merlion is illuminated or decorated with colorful light projections.
